More than 100 dead in DRC boat accident

KINSHASA: An overloaded boat has capsized in bad weather in the Democratic Republic of Congo, killing at least 138 people.
Local police said that the accident had taken place on Wednesday on a river in the province of Bandundu, 300km east of Kinshasa, the capital of the central African nation.
Boat accidents are frequent and often blamed on overloading. – Reuters
